About Redbird and Mallard Projects
Redbird and Mallard Projects is the collaboration of two Midwest artists: David Hoker (STL) and Michael Robert Pollard (Chicago). We seek opportunities to present, show, and exhibit our work as well as that of others. Our collaboration is an extension of Michael and Dave’s collaboration as part of the SFAA 2025 Tryst Independent Artist Initiative fair, sponsored by the Torrance Museum of Art, Show Exhibition, “Resist, Repeat and Reboot”, where Michael was a Co-Curator. David was essential in show development, installation, refreshments, and teardown.
David and Michael also collaborated on the magazine rack of SFAA zines, artists' books, comics, etc. This experience has led to Michael and David expanding to new opportunities for themselves and others whenever feasible. They are also long-suffering baseball fans.
